BAIKONUR COSMODROME, Kazakhstan, December 29, 2009 – International Launch Services (ILS), a leading mission and launch services provider for the global commercial satellite industry, successfully carried the DIRECTV 12 satellite into orbit today for DIRECTV of El Segundo, California, on an ILS Proton. This was the seventh and final commercial launch of 2009 for ILS and the 56th ILS Proton launch overall. ILS Proton launched the DIRECTV 10 satellite just two years ago, demonstrating the enhanced Proton capability which became the standard configuration for future missions.
BAIKONUR COSMODROME, Kazakhstan, Dec, 14, 2009 -- Three GLONASS navigation satellites were successfully delivered into a target orbit aboard a three–stage Proton M launch vehicle, launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan today.Control over the satellites was passed to their customer.
BAIKONUR COSMODROME, Kazakhstan, November 24, 2009 – International Launch Services (ILS), a world leader in providing mission and launch services to the commercial space industry, successfully carried the W7 satellite to orbit for Eutelsat Communications of France on an ILS Proton. The Proton vehicle lifted off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome at 8:19 p.m. local time (9:19 a.m. EST, 3:19 p.m. in Paris, 14:19 GMT). After a 9 hour 12 minute mission, the Breeze M successfully released the W7 satellite into geostationary transfer orbit.
BAIKONUR COSMODROME, Kazakhstan, November 23, 2009 – The launch of a Proton launch vehicle with the W7 satellite was postponed today for 24 hours. There are no technical issues concerning the Proton rocket or the satellite.

The satellite is scheduled for launch in 2010. This is the tenth firm award announced by ILS this year.
